KANARRAVILLE — A 53-year-old male reportedly died as a result of a motorized bicycle crash in Iron County sometime Friday.
Iron County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at approximately 5:10 p.m. to 6000 Old Highway 91 near Kanarraville to a report of a fatal crash.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, “Upon arrival, they found one male, approximately 53 years of age, deceased. It appeared that the male was riding a motorized bicycle and had crashed into a ravine along the road. The exact time of the accident is unknown, but it appeared to have occurred hours prior.”
Cedar City News reporter Jeff Richards reported from the scene that law enforcement agents were rerouting traffic during the initial investigation.
No other details were available. The case is still under investigation and pending further follow-up, the news release said.
