Night golf, anyone?

ST. GEORGE – The fundraising committee of the St. George Rotary Club invites golfers, as well as non-golfers who just want to have fun, to participate in an Autumn Golf Benefit Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 8.

This 4-man moonlit scramble begins at 6 p.m. with a box lunch social before 12 teams follow illuminated golf balls around the Dixie Red Hills Golf Course.

“We know it sounds crazy – golfing in the dark – but its hilarious fun and a great way to raise funds to support literacy in our schools,” notes Janet O’Riley, president of St. George Rotary Club. “Participants will also enjoy a spectacular display of glow-in-the-dark balls flying through the night sky!”

A donation of $200 for each foursome – or $50 per golfer – includes green fees, dinner, an illuminated ball, prizes and a whole lot of fun.

Sponsors at this year’s event are still needed, as well. Promote your company for an affordable $100 per company recognition.

For more information on being an event sponsor or to register your team for the fun, contact Ted Dodge at 801-319-9810, Lynn Beecher at 435-319-4310 or Pat O’Riley at 435-668-1695.
