Paper Jams: Local singer-songwriter Heather Winn enchants audiences with ethereal charm

FEATURE — Southern Utah’s live music scene is flourishing and the Canyon Media crew is back to highlighting local musicians. So gather around for another session of “Paper Jams.”

Coming to you from Cloud 9 Studios at Canyon Media, this month’s edition features Heather Winn, a singer-songwriter and Southern Utah native.

Watch (and hear) Heather Winn perform live from Cloud 9 Studios at Canyon Media in the media player above.

Born and raised in St. George, Winn started her musical journey at the tender age of 6. She plays guitar and piano and has been writing and performing her own songs for the past decade.

During her visit to Cloud 9 studios, Winn performed a touching cover of “Heart Like Yours” by Willamette Stone from the movie “If I Stay.” She also played one of her original songs, “Dream.”

Winn works as a ghostwriter, producer, instrumentalist and vocalist. Her music is inspired by contemporary R&B artists like Daniel Caesar, H.E.R. and Miguel.

She has also released a handful of singles on all major music platforms. Find her on Spotify and social media @heatherwinnmusic.

If you’re a musician interested in playing on a future episode of Paper Jams, you can contact St. George News in the Facebook comments for this article or email [email protected].
