The crash occurred around 3:36 p.m. MST.
Mesquite Police out of Nevada reported over Twitter that the lanes were closed to accommodate the landing of a medical helicopter at the scene of the single-vehicle rollover.
Once the helicopter left, the lanes were eventually reopened. However, southbound motorists are advised to anticipate delays due to traffic back-up.

“Once the helicopter leaves, one of the southbound lane is anticipated to opened up, according to Mesquite Police.”
Once the helicopter leaves, one of the southbound lanes is anticipated to open, according to Mesquite Police.
or
Once the helicopter leaves, one of the southbound lanes is anticipated to be opened according to Mesquite Police.
(There are multiple lanes and up is a preposition and should not be used in this manner)
“Open Up”: Transitive verb meaning to make available or possible. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/open%20up
Thus, the sentence should be read as follows: “Once the helicopter leaves, one of the southbound lane is anticipated to made available, according to Mesquite Police.”
Looks to me like it was used properly
“…to be made available”. Now it is used properly.
Your right! Hang Mori by the toes. That will teach him.
Just imagine, once the chopper flies off, you are good to go.
Get a life!
