ARIZONA STRIP – A man is confirmed dead Monday evening after the vehicle he was driving rolled on the Arizona Strip just south of St. George.
The man was driving north on the Bureau of Land Management Road 1069 in Mohave County, Arizona, around 6 p.m. when he lost control of his SUV and it rolled, Raymond Christensen, of the Arizona Department of Agriculture, said.
CPR was initiated on the man and Life Flight responded to the scene to airlift the man to the hospital. However, CPR efforts were unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead.
There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
Arizona Game and Fish Department, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and the St. George Fire Department responded to the scene.
