ST. GEORGE – The Southern Utah LIVE Television Network in partnership with St George News and KCSG Television will broadcast, “Region 9 Football Media Day LIVE,” Friday, Aug. 8, 2-6 p.m.
The broadcast will be hosted by Devin Dixon, Cherry Creek Radio sports commentator before a live studio audience. Media representatives will be invited to interview high school coaches and key players from participating teams: Snow Canyon Warriors, Pine View Panthers, Desert Hills Thunder, Dixie Flyers, Cedar Redman, Hurricane Tigers, and Payson Lions.
“Region 9 Football Media Day LIVE” will stream live on the Internet over southernutahLIVE.com, stgeorgeutah.com, on the radio at Cherry Creek 106.1 FM and Sports Radio ESPN radio, and on KCSG-TV statewide including Direct-TV 44, Dish Network 37, Baja Cable 6, Reliance Cable 6, and Comcast Cable 116. The show will be archived and available for on-demand viewing at southernutahLIVE.com, on smartphone, tablet, and computer.
“It is exciting to be televising this event,” said Dixon. “There is a lot of build up following another great year for Region 9 Football including a handful of teams in the state semifinals, and an Region 9 showdown between Desert Hills and Pine View at the state championship. It is an exciting time for local high school sports.”
